Verse of the Day
“Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.” (1 Corinthians 1:10)

Katherine M. McLellan was born in Saint John, N.B. Canada, the youngest daughter of Robert and Katherine Williams. She graduated from Saint John Vocational School and began working at Irving Pulp and Paper, where she met her husband, Darrell. They were married in 1969. She received Jesus Christ as her Lord and Saviour in 1976 and was baptized in the Holy Spirit in 1979. She became an ardent student of the Word of God taking several Bible School courses at Smythe Street Cathedral in Fredericton, N.B. Following her studies at Smythe Street Cathedral, she continued to study God's Word through correspondence under Reverend Kelly Varney of North Carolina, USA.

All of these things were preparing her to become a pastor's wife. Her knowledge of God's Word, wisdom and spiritual discernment were crucial to the birth and the growth of the church body that became known as Abundant Life Christian Center. She taught the adult Bible School class for several years and eventually took the position of Sunday School Superintendent. She developed one of the most exciting and rewarding Daily Vacation Bible schools in the area. She spent tireless hours teaching God's Word and counseling those that God put in her path. She also became the Missions Director of ALCC. Her home became a hospitality center where she entertained and literally prepared hundreds of meals for people from far and wide, while raising her own three children.

Katherine has always had a heart for other ministers and their wives, especially those working as missionaries at home and abroad. She continues to work with her husband in their ministry with Rivers of Restoration.
